PCB design by a product designer familiar with switch mode power converters is an advantage offered to you by Ormitech - therefore designing for manufacture and low electrical noise comes as standard. PCBs are designed with Altium Designer v6.9 (fully licensed). A feature of A.D. is it's ability to produce pdf files containing the schematic and pcb layout together with a clickable list of components, which will zoom onto the selected component on either the schematic or pcb, saving having to search for it. A.D. can now also import 3D STEP models created in MCAD packages such as SolidWorks to give a realistic impression of how a pcb being designed will appear when assembled.
